4th place at the European Cybersecurity & AI Hackathon Championship finals

After qualifying from the Vienna regional round in December, my teammates Tanja Šarčević, Yelyzaveta Klysa, Sabina Khazari, and I, team “4 braincells”, traveled to CISPA for the grand final of the European Cybersecurity & AI Hackathon Championship, joining 16 other regional winners from Paris, Vienna, Stockholm, Munich, Barcelona, and Warsaw.

We placed in the top 6 by score and advanced to the presentation round, which lifted us to 4th overall. The finals featured three challenges: localizing watermarked text regions, targeted attacks to misclassify training-set members, non-members, and generated images, and reconstructing face images from gradients.
