Visiting the Dormant Neurons group at CISPA

At the turn of June and July, I visited the Dormant Neurons group at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security for a short research exchange (June 30–July 1), hosted by Lea Schönherr. The group works on making AI systems more trustworthy, with a focus on generative and agentic systems.

Over two intense days we exchanged research interests and directions, and I gave a talk on rethinking long-standing assumptions in model stealing research. I am grateful to Lea and the group for the warm welcome and the many thoughtful discussions.
